“The Store” at Museum of Arts and Design
Because of its highly visible location in a high-traffic area in a landmark building whose interior is a blend of sleek white surfaces, glass, and polished metal, this museum store had to be able to attract the attention of design-conscious patrons while not distracting them from the major display items.
Boyce Products successfully met this challenge, rendered even more difficult by the obvious security requirements, by meeting yet another challenge - how to make graceful curved elliptical display cases out of such inflexible materials as steel, glass, and Corian.
